The Dartmouth Education Foundation (DEF) is pleased to announce it has awarded twelve grants and one special membership award to the Dartmouth Public Schools, totaling $15,315. These grants will fund teacher-initiated programs that will enrich the educational experience for Dartmouth students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Established in 2008, the goal of the DEF Grant program was to provide the seed money needed for programs that promote education, creative thinking, and problem solving for students in the Dartmouth Public Schools. Following is a list of the 2012 grant recipients and a brief description of their programs.
The DEF recently announced the launch of its 2011-12 grant cycle. DEF Grants are intended for innovative programs that directly and actively engage Dartmouth Public School students. Learn more.
Above are some highlights if you missed it. Check the DCTV schedule to view the event in it’s entirety.
The DEF would like to thank all of the team sponsors, team participants, and sponsors of the evening. Without your generous support the event and all of the wonderful activities, technology, etc. could never be given to the Dartmouth Public Schools. Thank you again for helping us to give that extra something that is needed for the children in the Dartmouth Public Schools!
